Authentication of Documents issued in Nigeria

The Embassy endorses the following documents;

NB:

ALL DOCUMENTS EMANATING FROM NIGERIA FOR AUTHENTICATION BY THE MISSION MUST FIRST BE SUBMITTED TO THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS IN ABUJA. THIS IS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE PLEASE.


Requirements for all Authentications

Please attach the following:
  • Document(s) you wish to endorse together with photocopies of the document(s)
  • Photocopy of proof of address (preferably a recent bill showing your name and address
  • Photocopy of data page of Nigerian/International passport
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs
  • Vietnam Residence card
  • Evidence of registration as a Nigerian with the Embassy or Nigeria community in Vietnam duly signed.
  • In the case of Legalisation for commercial documents, the following should be attached:
    • Certificate of sale authenticated by the relevant local authority
    • List of the commodities to be exported
    • Application letter addressed to the Embassy

NOTICE BOARD

visas
Visa applications are being processed within 48 hours of applications submitted to the Embassy. Applicants are requested to ensure that all relevant document are submitted to avoid delay.
Passport
The Mission does not have a passport issuing desk. However, passport intervention exercises are being conducted periodically in Ho Chi Min City by immigration officers from our Mission in Malaysia. Applicants will be notified accordingly of this exercises through our website.

Distance Learning Center (DLC)
The Mission wishes to inform all interested candidates that Nigerian Embassy in Hanoi has been designated as information and examination centers for the Ahmadu Bello University Distance Learning Center (DLC), which was established in 2015. This is part of the Federal government’s drive to broaden the capacity of Nigerian universities to admit more prospective students. Interested persons should contact Mr. A.A.
